- Unique church code (automatically generated)
- Information about leaders and collaborators
2.3 Member Information
Information you enter about your church members includes:
- Full name
- Photo (optional)
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Marital status
- Contact information (phone, email, address)
- Associated ministries
- Additional notes
2.4 Event and Attendance Information
- Event details (title, date, time, location, type)
- Member attendance records
- Attendance statistics
- Ministries associated with events
2.5 Technical Information
We may automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system
- IP address
- Application usage information
- Error log data
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain application functionality
- Manage user accounts and authentication
- Enable management of members, events and attendance

3.1 Tracking and Advertising
My Church does NOT track users for advertising purposes.
The data we collect is used exclusively for:
- Application functionality: Providing church management services
- Internal analysis: Improving our services through aggregated and anonymous usage analysis
- Security: Fraud prevention and account protection
We DO NOT share your data with advertising networks, data brokers, or third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

4.1 Within Your Church
The information you enter is shared with other authorized leaders of your church according to the permissions you configure. Each church has access only to its own information.
4.2 Service Providers
We share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the application:
- Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
- Google: OAuth authentication services (if you choose to sign in with Google)
- Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication services (if you choose to sign in with Apple)
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may only use it to provide services on our behalf.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.
5. Data Security
We implement security measures to protect your information:
- Data encryption in transit (HTTPS/SSL)

6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information while your account is active or as necessary to provide services.
6.1 Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time directly from the application by navigating to: More → Account → Delete Account.
Deletion is permanent and immediate. When you delete your account, all your personal data will be deleted, including:
- Profile information (name, email, phone)
- Membership data
- Authentication credentials (password, Google OAuth, Apple Sign In)
- Associated user records

6.2 Post-Deletion Retention
After deleting your account, we may retain certain non-personal information anonymously as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.

- Correct: Update or correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete: Delete your account and data directly from the app (More → Account → Delete Account)
- Export: Request a copy of your data in portable format

- Withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent at any time

8. Children's Privacy
My Church is not designed for children under 13 years of age. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
While the application allows recording information of minor members as part of church management, this functionality is intended only for use by authorized adults (church leaders) acting on behalf of the congregation.
If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred and processed on servers located outside your country of residence. We take steps to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
My Church uses technologies such as session tokens to maintain your active session and provide a personalized experience. These technologies are essential for the application to function.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the application and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
